A tan jacket with brown leather at shoulders, breast and collar. Long tassel fringing of blue, green, yellow, red, beige, and purple to shoulders, chest and sleeves. Four tan self-button front closure. Pyramid decorations made from horizontal rainbow fringe straps adorn the jacket. All seams are woven tan straps on brown and brown straps on tan.
Estimate $6,000- 8,000. Sold for $9,000.
This extremely funky Elvis jacket was worn in the 1970's. There are a lot of pictures of him leaving a plane wearing this coat of many colors.
There's actually two of these jackets -- one is currently displayed at Graceland and the other at the Las Vegas Elvis-a-rama museum.
